Vanefeed vs the official Bluesky API
Bluesky's own AT Protocol API is open and free, and if you only need Bluesky it's a good choice.

Questions
Why not use Bluesky's own API?
If Bluesky is all you need, its open API is free. Vanefeed saves work when you combine Bluesky with other platforms in one schema.
Is search limited?
Anonymous Bluesky search returns up to 100 results per query; everything else pages up to 1,000 per call.
Do failed calls cost credits?
No. Credits are only taken for successful answers, and every response shows what it cost in the X-Credits-Cost header. Repeats served from cache are free too.
Can I get sentiment with the data?
Yes: add sentiment=true to posts, comments or search and each result gets a positive, neutral or negative label with a confidence score, for 1 extra credit per 20 results.
