Meta's Instagram Graph API is built for accounts you manage: you need a business or creator account, a Meta app and app review. Its Business Discovery feature reads only basic data of other business accounts, and hashtag search is capped at 30 unique hashtags per 7 days.

Can I get data from any public Instagram account?
Yes, any public account: profile, posts, reels and comments. Private accounts and stories are never accessed.
Do I need a Facebook developer app?
No. You call the Vanefeed API with your key; there is no Meta app, app review or business-account linking.
Can I search Instagram by hashtag?
Yes, /v1/instagram/search?q=%23space returns posts for one hashtag, priced per 20 results returned.
Do failed calls cost credits?
No. Credits are only taken for successful answers, and every response shows what it cost in the X-Credits-Cost header. Repeats served from cache are free too.
Can I get sentiment with the data?
Yes: add sentiment=true to posts, comments or search and each result gets a positive, neutral or negative label with a confidence score, for 1 extra credit per 20 results.
