The short version
- Choose Vanefeed if you need posts, comments, profiles and search from TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, Telegram, Bluesky or news sites, in one JSON shape, at the lowest price per result.
- Choose Apify if you need sites beyond social media, custom crawling logic, built-in scheduling and storage, or a large company behind the tool.

Where Apify is the better choice
- You need more than social media. E-commerce, maps, job boards and arbitrary websites are all on Apify's store. Vanefeed only covers the platforms listed above.
- You want a no-code workflow with schedules, stored datasets and integrations to Google Sheets or Zapier.
- You need custom logic. On Apify you can write and run your own scraper.
Where Vanefeed is the better choice
- Cost per result. Reading social posts and comments costs about a tenth of the per-result scrapers above.
- One format. Your code handles TikTok, X and Reddit the same way, so adding a platform is a parameter change.
- Credits don't expire. Uneven usage, a quiet month or a one-off research project doesn't waste money.
- Simple calls. A request in, JSON out, which suits apps and AI agents.
