What data can I get?
Public posts, profiles, comments and search results: anything a visitor can see on the platform's public pages. We don't access private accounts, direct messages, private groups, or contact details.
How is the data collected?
Our own collection infrastructure gathers public posts, profiles and comments, and we run and maintain it end to end. You never connect accounts, install anything or manage scrapers: you call the API with your key.
What happens when a platform changes and breaks?
Canaries test every platform every hour. A failure flips that platform to "degraded" on the status page, calls to it fail fast with 503 platform_unavailable at no cost, and we start on a fix the same day.
Do failed requests really cost nothing?
Yes. Credits are deducted only for a successful response. Rate-limit errors, validation errors, timeouts and platform outages cost 0 credits, and every response tells you what it cost in the X-Credits-Cost header.
How do I pay?
You don't pay online. Prices on this page are our standard plans. Start with the free key from the signup page. When you need more, contact sales: we invoice you and load the credits onto your existing key, usually the same day.
Can AI agents use it?
Yes. Every endpoint is described in an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, and the Vanefeed MCP server exposes each endpoint as a tool for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients.
Are sentiment scores accurate?
They come from a multilingual model trained on social media posts, which reads the whole post rather than keywords. It is strongest in English, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, and also handles Urdu and Roman Urdu. Every score says how sure it is (0 to 1); jokes and very short posts are the hardest. Add sentiment=true to posts, comments or search for 1 extra credit per 20 results.
What am I not allowed to do with the data?
No surveillance or profiling of private individuals, no harassment, no reselling raw data as your own dataset, and no use that breaks the law where you operate. The full acceptable use policy is part of the terms.
