YouTube API for channels, videos, comments and search, with no daily quota

Read channels, their videos and shorts, comments and keyword search without managing quota units, OAuth or Google Cloud projects.

Vanefeed vs the official YouTube API

The official YouTube Data API v3 is free but rationed: a project gets 10,000 quota units a day by default, and a single search costs 100 units, so about 100 searches a day. More quota requires Google's compliance audit.

Vanefeed has no daily quota: you pay per result in credits, and a channel's full video list or thousands of comments are a few calls away.

Example

curl "https://api.vanefeed.com/v1/youtube/posts?handle=%40TED&limit=20" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $VANEFEED_KEY"

Every platform answers in the same shape: data (posts with author, text, published_at, metrics and media), plus next_cursor for the next page. Add dry_run=true to see the price first, free.

Questions

Is there a daily limit?

No quota units. You pay credits per result returned, and the default rate limit is generous for normal use.

Can I get YouTube comments?

Yes, /v1/youtube/comments?id=VIDEO returns comments with likes and reply counts, up to 1,000 per call with a cursor for more.

Do I need a Google Cloud project or OAuth?

No. One Vanefeed key works for YouTube and every other platform.

Do failed calls cost credits?

No. Credits are only taken for successful answers, and every response shows what it cost in the X-Credits-Cost header. Repeats served from cache are free too.

Can I get sentiment with the data?

Yes: add sentiment=true to posts, comments or search and each result gets a positive, neutral or negative label with a confidence score, for 1 extra credit per 20 results.
